Quick Start: View Folders and Browse Images

Welcome to the quick start guide. This chapter will introduce practical tips for browsing image materials in FlareSeek, helping you manage and view your local computer's image resources more efficiently.

Image Folders

Here you can view your indexed folders. The folder structure is the same as local folders

Click the upper right to "Sync All Folders" and "Add Folder"

After syncing, the right side of the folder will display the latest number of AI-recognized images

How to Determine if All Images are Successfully Recognized

  1. Recognition Successful: Total Images = Recognized Images = Searchable Files + Failed Files
  2. Recognition Incomplete: Total Images > Searchable Files + Failed Files, or Pending Recognition > 0
  3. Recognition Not Started: Searchable Files = 0, Failed Files = 0
  4. All Recognition Failed: Total Files = Failed Files

Folder Recognition Status

Indexing Info: View configuration information when adding the folder, helpful for understanding this folder's capabilities

View Failed Files: View paths and failure information of failed files, click to view more

Copy Path: Copy folder path

Sync Folder: Sync individual folder additions and deletions, can search new images and remove deleted images

Open in File Manager: Locate this folder's position on the local computer

Change Folder Path: If the local folder's name or path has changed, please click to change, click to view more

Remove Folder from Software: Remove all information about this folder from the software, will not delete the actual folder on the local computer. After removal, you will not be able to search images in this folder

Browse Images

Click an image to view image information, including: type, size, resolution and modification date

Image Search: Perform image search on the selected image to get similar images

Export Image: Export original image to corresponding folder

Copy Path: Copy image path for other operations

Image Types

Types include: Indexed, Waiting for AI Recognition, Changed, File Lost, AI Recognition Failed

AI Recognition Complete: Images that have undergone AI recognition and can be searched

Waiting for AI Recognition: Images waiting for AI recognition, cannot be searched

Changed: Image has been changed, not the original image, software search results are inconsistent, need to sync folder

File Lost: Original image has been deleted, but thumbnail in software still exists, software can still search, but cannot locate original image position

AI Recognition Failed: Images that failed AI recognition, cannot be searched

In the image list, display or hide filenames

Choose how images are displayed:

Adaptive

Display image's original aspect ratio

Adaptive Display Mode

Fill

Only display the center area of the image, same aspect ratio
